Traveling to Gozo from Malta International Airport
Air Malta, the national airline, now offers flights to and from various major airports in Europe, North Africa, and the Middle East. Additionally, other international airlines, including budget carriers, operate regular scheduled flights to and from Malta.

Notably, there is a direct bus connection (Route X1) that conveniently takes you from the airport to Cirkewwa. The bus station at the airport is a mere 50-100m stroll away from the arrivals terminal.
Route X1 buses depart from the airport station every 30-45 minutes, commencing service at 5.05am and concluding with the last departure at 10.50 pm. Several companies offer the option of leaving a car at the airport for you to pick up and drive over to the island of Gozo. To reach Victoria from Mġarr Harbour, you can take Bus Route 301, which starts operating from Mġarr as early as 5:30 am and continues until 11:45 pm, making it convenient for all travelers.
Once you disembark from the ferry, simply head to Bus Stop ‘Vapur’ and wait for the bus there. Buses run approximately every 35 minutes, making it easy to catch one. The short 15-minute bus ride will take you to the Victoria Bus Station. From there, it’s just a pleasant 10-minute stroll through the historic part of Victoria to Santa Maria Street, where Maria Rosa Suites eagerly await your arrival.
