Maria Rosa Suites – Terms & Conditions (Guest Agreement)

These Terms & Conditions form an agreement between the guest(s) and Maria Rosa Suites (hereinafter referred to as “the Management”). By confirming a booking and/or checking in, guests agree to comply with the following:

 

1. Rates & Charges

All rates are quoted per room, per night, and may include or exclude applicable government taxes as specified at the time of booking. Additional services (including extras or add-ons) may incur additional charges.

 

2. Payment Policy

Full payment must be settled as per the booking conditions. The Management reserves the right to request payment upon arrival. Personal cheques are not accepted.

 

3. Check-in Requirements

Guests are required to present a valid government-issued identification document (ID card, passport, or residence permit) upon check-in, in accordance with Maltese legal requirements.

 

4. Check-in / Check-out

  • Check-in time: 15:00
  • Check-out time: 11:00am

Late check-out may be available upon request and subject to availability. Additional charges may apply and will be communicated in advance.

 

5. Guest Conduct

Guests are expected to behave in a respectful manner and not cause disturbance to other guests or staff. The Management reserves the right to refuse service or require a guest to leave the premises in cases of misconduct, breach of these terms, or behaviour that may affect the safety, comfort, or well-being of others.

 

6. Damage to Property

Guests are responsible for any damage caused to the property, furnishings, or equipment during their stay. The Management reserves the right to charge for repair or replacement where necessary.

 

7. Guest Belongings & Valuables

Guests are advised to secure their personal belongings and use the in-room safety deposit boxes where provided.

The Management shall not be held responsible for loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings unless such loss or damage is caused by the negligence or wilful misconduct of the Management or its staff.

 

8. Luggage Storage

Luggage storage may be provided subject to availability. Items are stored at the guest’s own risk. The Management is not liable for loss or damage unless caused by negligence.

 

9. Non-Payment

In the event of outstanding charges, the Management reserves the right to retain guest belongings as permitted by applicable law. Any further action will follow proper legal procedures and reasonable notice will be given.

 

10. Safety & Prohibited Items

Guests are not permitted to bring or store illegal, hazardous, or dangerous items on the premises. This includes (but is not limited to) weapons, explosives, flammable substances, and illegal drugs.

 

11. Visitors

Only registered guests are permitted to stay overnight. Visitors may be subject to approval by Management and must comply with property rules.

 

12. Pets

Pets are allowed only under specific conditions as outlined in the property’s pet policy. Guests are responsible for any damage or disturbance caused by their pets.

 

13. Photography & Filming

Photography and video recording for personal use is permitted. Any commercial use or activity that may affect the privacy of other guests or staff requires prior written approval from Management.

 

14. Data Protection (GDPR)

Personal data collected during booking and check-in is processed in accordance with applicable data protection laws (GDPR). Data is used solely for reservation management, legal obligations, and operational purposes. Guests have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of their personal data, subject to legal retention requirements.

 

15. Compliance with Laws

Guests are required to comply with all applicable Maltese laws and regulations during their stay.

 

16. No Tenancy

This agreement does not create any tenancy or lease rights. Guests are granted a temporary licence to occupy the room for the duration of their booking.

 

17. Amendments

The Management reserves the right to update or amend these Terms & Conditions where necessary. Any changes will not affect confirmed bookings unless required by law.
